What does "Kahraman" mean?

  Many people have wondered would does this word mean, and why I am using it as a display name on Windows Live Messenger or in my Chess,com account...This is a reply to all people who have been questioning me.

  Simply put, Kahraman is Turkish for "Hero" , the reason why I changed all my usernames into that is because it sounds good and there has been deja-vu going on with me as of where I have heard it before... I came across a local debate in Istanbul that had a cool slogan which is "Benim Kahraman" which means "I am a hero"...So, you can say I picked it up from there.

  I also suspect that the etymology of "Kahraman" is from the old Arabic language script...maybe?!
